Lifestyle & Concierge Support at Home
A discreet, capable pair of hands for the household: managing tradespeople, diaries, technology, pets and errands, so life runs smoothly and you stay in control.
For people who like things done well
Running a substantial home can become a burden, particularly after the loss of a spouse who handled certain things, or when family live far away. Our lifestyle support is a personal-assistant style service for older adults and busy families, provided with complete discretion.
Household management
- Booking and supervising tradespeople, gardeners and cleaners
- Waiting in for deliveries, repairs and engineers
- Keeping on top of post, filing and household paperwork
- Organising a household calendar shared with family
Personal assistance
- Setting up and teaching phones, tablets and video calls
- Planning events, family gatherings and gifts
- Dog walking and taking pets to the vet or groomer
- Preparing for holidays, house moves and downsizing
Staying safe from scams
We help clients recognise cold callers and scam emails, and can be present when tradespeople visit. Age UK’s scams guidance and Citizens Advice are excellent resources. Our companions never take control of bank accounts or make financial decisions on a client’s behalf.
Planning ahead
Families often ask us about Lasting Powers of Attorney and paying for future care. We do not give legal or financial advice, but we can point you to the official GOV.UK power of attorney guidance and to Attendance Allowance, and help arrange appointments with your solicitor or adviser.
About our service: Livingsupported provides non-regulated companionship, home help and lifestyle support. We do not provide personal care (such as help with washing, dressing, toileting or giving medication), nursing or medical care, and we are not registered with the Care Quality Commission. If personal or clinical care is needed, we will help you find a registered provider and can work alongside them.
Where we provide this service
We visit clients across South Manchester and Trafford, Cheshire and Staffordshire, including Hale, Bowdon, Altrincham, Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, Prestbury, Knutsford and Eccleshall.
Frequently asked questions
Is this service only for older people?
No. We support adults of any age who would like discreet help running their home, including people recovering from surgery and busy professionals arranging help for a parent.
Will you handle my finances?
No. We help with paperwork and organisation but never manage bank accounts, cards or financial decisions.
Can I combine lifestyle support with companionship?
Yes, most clients do. One trusted person covering both is often the most comfortable arrangement.
